What is Calorica AI?
Calorica AI is an intelligent iOS app that helps you track calories and better understand your nutrition.
You can manually add meals and calories for free, or use AI-powered food photo analysis (available with a Premium subscription) to estimate calories by simply taking a photo of your meal.
Is the app free?
Yes! Calorica AI offers free functionality.
With the free version, you can:

• Manually add meals
• Enter food items and calories yourself
• Track your daily intake

For users who want automatic calorie estimation from food photos, we offer a Calorica AI Premium  subscription.
Subscription & Payment
What benefits does the Calorica AI Premium subscription provide?
Upgrading to  Premium  unlocks advanced AI features:

Premium is  only required for photo-based calorie estimation.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed via Apple:

1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Tap your Apple ID.
3. Select Subscriptions.
4. Choose Calorica AI.
5. Tap Cancel Subscription.

You can also cancel via  Settings → Manage Subscription  inside the app.
Will I keep Premium benefits until the end of the billing period?
Yes. After cancellation, Premium features remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.
Restoring PurchasesWhat does “Restore Purchases” do?
It restores your  Premium subscription  if:

• You reinstalled the app
• You switched devices
• Premium features appear locked

How do I restore purchases?

1. Open Calorica AI.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Tap Manage Subscription.
4. Select Restore Purchases.
5. Wait for confirmation.

Camera & Photo Usage
Why does Calorica AI need camera access?
Camera access is required only for Premium users to analyze food photos.

• Used solely to estimate calories from images
• Activated only when you choose to take or upload a photo
• Photos are processed securely by AI
• Photos are not used for advertising or identification
• You can disable camera access anytime in iOS Settings

App Usage
How do I add meals for free?

1. Open Calorica AI.
2. Select Add Meal.
3. Enter food items manually.
4. Input calories or nutritional values.
5. Save the meal.

How does photo-based calorie estimation work?
(Premium feature)

1. Tap Take Photo or Upload Image.
2. Capture your meal.
3. AI analyzes the image.
4. View estimated calories and food details.

Privacy & Data Security

• Manual meal entries are stored locally on your device.
• Photos are used only for calorie estimation.
• We do not track users across other apps or websites.
• Payments are processed securely by Apple.
